John's Records, Wolfeboro, N.H.

Thank you for visiting our web site.   John Heyl bought and sold fine, old, used 78s, 45s, 33s and 16 rpm records for many years.   He also constructed models of vintage military aircraft from World War I and II.

September, 2011 -- Some sad news: John Heyl passed away earlier this month.   He was dedicated to his customers and enjoyed nothing more than giving them a chance to experience his favorite Southern Jazz (which he called "Dixieland") and Blues artists.   I consider myself privileged to have known John for the last several years.   We will celebrate his life and music sometime in the late Spring or Summer of 2012... please contact me to receive more information.

We received a lovely note last Fall from Pauline who was looking for a birthday present for her sister who had bought a Victrola.   Thank you for the time you spent on Saturday to go through records for my sister-in-law. I had a great time looking through the tracks and so much fun hearing them!   I really appreciate the attention.   I hope that all goes well for you, and my best to John - I'm sorry I missed him, as I enjoy his collection!

John's Records is open by appointment, or by chance during sunny, warmer days (say 45 degrees and above). The shop is located with Eyes of the Owl - UsedBooks near downtown Wolfeboro, N.H. You can bet that you will hear some of the best music in town while you are browsing.
